Issue Links for Jira is a Chrome extension published by REPLACE-WITH-PUBLISHER-NAME. It turns Jira issue keys on GitHub into links and shows previews of those issues. This policy explains what data the extension handles and where that data goes.
On the GitHub pages you choose in its settings, the extension reads the text of the page in your browser to find issue keys. This happens entirely on your device. Page content is never sent anywhere.
When you hover over a linked issue key or open its description, the extension requests that one issue from the Jira Cloud site you set in its settings (an address ending in atlassian.net). The request contains only the issue key. The extension asks for access to that site only when you save the settings, and gives it back if you remove the site. It also loads images in the issue description from Atlassian's attachment service (api.media.atlassian.com). No data is sent to the extension's developer or to any other party.
By default, requests to Jira use the Jira login already present in your browser. If you choose to enter a Jira API token in the settings instead, the token is stored in your browser's local extension storage on your device. It isn't synced to other devices, and it is sent only to your Jira site with those requests.
Your settings (the sites, key patterns and link template) are saved with Chrome's sync storage, so they are available on other browsers where you are signed in to Chrome. The API token is never included in this.
It has no analytics, tracking, advertising or remote code. It doesn't sell or share data, and it doesn't use data for any purpose other than linking and previewing Jira issues.
Uninstalling the extension deletes its settings and any stored API token from your browser.
